what is the difference between i3, i5 or i7 processors?
hi,
im almost getting myself a studio 15 laptop. i was wondering what were the big differences between these processors.
for example, is there a BIG difference between i5 and i7?
im sure the i7 is the best one and the fastest, but there is also a huge difference between the amount of money it costs. will i be satisfied with the i3 or i5?

Go for at least the i5 if not the i7 --- and don't skimp on the video chip, either.
You won't be happy with the i3 for multiple programs running at the same time. There is a decent summary here:

That's a very capable video chip - - and it is a chip, not a card. The system uses, like over 95% of all new systems, a video chip soldered to the mainboard. It is not on a separate card.

No one can answer without knowing what you want to use the notebook for.
