@Brian Kalsic - check in the device mangager to see if VMware VMCI Bus Device Driver exists. Device Manager > System Devices > VMware VMCI Bus Device Driver

If so, we've seen this recently with VMWare Workstation builds and Windows Updates causing the image check to fail. Here's the workaround:

    1. Disconnect the VM from the internet.
    2. Uninstall the VMware VMCI Bus Device Driver > Device Manager > System Devices > VMware VMCI Bus Device Driver > Right Click – Uninstall & check box to delete driver software
    3. Reboot then verify in Device manager under Other devices > Base System Device with yellow bang exists
    4. If so, delete all log files from c:\windows\logs\windowsupdate & retry running Image Assist

Thanks,

Tyler

@ Jeffery2k: You could try with Clonezilla freeware application.
