@Brian Kalsic - check in the device mangager to see if VMware VMCI Bus Device Driver exists. Device Manager > System Devices > VMware VMCI Bus Device Driver
If so, we've seen this recently with VMWare Workstation builds and Windows Updates causing the image check to fail. Here's the workaround:
Disconnect the VM from the internet.
Uninstall the VMware VMCI Bus Device Driver > Device Manager > System Devices > VMware VMCI Bus Device Driver > Right Click – Uninstall & check box to delete driver software
Reboot then verify in Device manager under Other devices > Base System Device with yellow bang exists
If so, delete all log files from c:\windows\logs\windowsupdate & retry running Image Assist

Why am I getting?
incompatible drivers detected
( driver name -windows updates manufacturer- Microsoft

command- not available with windows update )
