Dell KM632 wireless mouse problem

Hi, Batteries in my wireless mouse died, so i replaced them with fresh pair of batteries. Now, the battery indicator in the mouse kept blinking amber and the mouse stopped working. I replaced the batteries couple of times with fresh pair every time but the same problem kept repeating again and again. The warranty is expired. Any suggestion to resolve this issue. Thanks..

Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly. There are faint indicators inside. Check the wireless receiver on the computer in a usb port. Follow the troubleshooting steps in the user guide here-- https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_electronics/esuprt_mice_keyboards/dell-km632-dsktp-wir-kybrd_user%27s%20guide2_en-us.pdf
