Dell Update Disappeared On Windows 11
I have recently upgraded to windows 11 (about a month ago). And everything has been running smoothly until recently when dell update wanted to update itself I let it update and after it was done I restarted my computer. I have now noticed that by updating dell update has removed itself which I don't think is meant to happen. I have tried finding somewhere i could reinstall it which after some digging around I found the download for windows 10 and 7 versions (not helpful if you are running windows 11). If anyone has a solution or a working download link please let me know and if anyone from dell is reading this they might want to fix dell updates updates.

PC Model number? Always include that on any problem post.

It appears that dell update has somehow reinstalled itself on my pc (i think via support assist) but it is still quite an annoying bug to have encountered.

Harry same thing happened to me today. Will try running support assist later and hopefully it also returns. It always seems to be something. Lol

Same thing happened on one of the Dells I was cleaning up to be recycled within my company. I tried reinstalling it with Support Assist several times, it repeatedly downloaded and installed, however after the required restart it was never actually installed. After looking at the Dell Update download on dell.com I realized that even though it states its for a 32bit, it is in fact the correct app and works fine on Windows 11. Upon downloading the app from dell.com and initiating the install it prompted me with a message stating a previous installation of the app had been suspended, which I assume was preventing my original attempts with support assist, it gave me the option to terminate the old process and then successfully installed. So if anyone else encounters this issue I would suggest installing the 32bit version from dell.com which can be found here
