G5 5000 Wndows 10 Home i7-9700F No Encryption available, help.

Please help me Encrypt my computer, I had Dell Desktop Remote Support Assist tell me they do not see encryption key nor encryption for my computer with factory settings but they said I can try ask, so here I am asking. I can provide diagnostics & will go through until I have Encryption. I figured it would have at least encryption if not bitlocker but it does not. I do have listed in desktop mode as having TPM but instead have PTT in my BIOS, which I don't know what is.

also

'Device Information' Device Encryption Support - reasons for failed automatic device encryption: un-allowed DMA capable bus/device(s) detected.

Is it driver from Dell related too? I have no idea about this. Will I be able to still download bitlocker and enable it? Or a different encryption safeguard?

Windows 10 home does not support features that PRO or Enterprise does including encryption.

Pro is not free.

Intel® Platform Trust Technology (Intel® PTT)

PTT looks and acts like TPM. Computers that use Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT) support the same root of trust concepts enabled by hardware-based TPM without requiring dedicated processing or memory resources.  it must be enabled in bios because the default is off.

BitLocker is an encryption feature available in Windows 10 Professional and Enterprise editions but NOT Home.

Enabling device encryption (Not available in all countries)

To enable device encryption on your Windows 10 PRO laptop or desktop computer, use these steps:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click on Update & Security.
  3. Click on Device encryption.

Quick tip: If the "Device encryption" page isn't available, then it's likely that your device doesn't support the encryption feature.

  4. Under the "Device encryption" section, click the Turn on button.
