Inspiron 5676 boot without GPU

I have my 5676 set up for remote desktop access and basically running as a headless plex server. Does anyone know how to remove the Radeon GPU and still have it successfully boot? Right now if I take it out, it won't boot at all. Any suggestions? I don't see an option in the BIOS to allow this but maybe I'm missing something.
