Inspiron 5680 Disable integrated graphics
Hello all, I've been trying to disable to my intel integrated graphics card for a game, since I'm pretty sure it's trying to run with my integrated graphics card for some reason, and I can't get it to choose my GPU.
I've tried: rolling back GPU driver version, disabling and re-enabling my NVIDIA GPU, going to bios (no onboard graphic driver enable/disable options), going to nvidia control panel and setting the game to automatically play using the NVIDIA GPU, and enabled my "hidden devices" in device manager with no luck
I'm trying to disable my integrated graphics from my processor, which clearly exists, since I'm typing using the integrated graphics right now, with my nvidia GPU disabled. I also tried to install the integrated intel drivers for my processor, but the setup said that my computer is not compatible for some reason.
The CPU I'm using: intel® Core™ i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz, and the GPU: Nvidia 1060 3gb
The screenshot below is just the list of my display adapters, and I don't see any integrated graphics. My GPU is also disabled because I'm trying to find the integrated graphics.

Integrated video is disabled by default when a GPU is in the X16 slot.
Bios doesn't have a setting for that anymore.

If you disable Intel integrated graphics at the same time you've also disabled the add-in GPU, poof...no video output at all. Re-enable the GPU...
Don't know why you're not seeing Intel Graphics listed in Device Manager, but that's where you should disable it, as long as the GPU is enabled first. It should still be listed, even when an add-in video card is installed.
You might want to go to the Intel Download Center and install their Assistant to scan your hardware and offer updated drivers. Then reboot. That might make Intel Graphics appear in Device Manager again where you can disable it.

Unfortunately, I already tried that, and got nothing.

Plus, even after re-enabling the GPU, the integrated graphics still don't show up. I really can't figure this out.

You might try clearing BIOS:
And then install the Intel Graphics driver from Dell's page...
