PSA Error code 2000-0151 hard drive incorrect status=3E

Hi, Has anyone encountered this HD Error recently? Is the condition terminal?
Any suggestion(s) welcomed.  
Also: can I bypass the S.M.A.R.T. system in the boot configuration? No such option in the version A11 BIOS of my Dell Inspiron 546.
