RAM upgrade question - G5 5090
I'm looking to upgrade a G5 5090 from the shipped 8Gb of RAM to 64Gb (4 x 16). I've come across some Crucial branded RAM - CT16G4DFS8266 - which is at a reasonable price. The Crucial web site mentions a similar stick - CT16G4DFD8266 - as compatible...just wondering if there are enough differences between the two to preclude the former's use in the Dell?
FWIW, I can't see what any major differences from the specs I've read, but they'd have to have slightly different model codes for a reason, right?

Crucial says CT16G4DFS8266 is no longer available, and has been replaced with CT16G4DFRA266, and this newer one is compatible with the G5 5090. Doesn't guarantee the first one is compatible.
So CT16G4DFS8266 is old stock that somebody is trying to unload, and if it's not directly from Crucial, there could be a risk it's fake.
CT16G4DFD8266 is also listed as compatible with G5 5090, but there's no price or "extended timings" shown for it on that page.
