Should I Disable Waves MaxxAudio Service Application?

Question

I have issues launching a PoS program over my network especially in the beginning of the day. I am wondering if disabling Waves MaxxAudio Service Application from the start up would help? I am not an expert but it seams like items in the start up that are not related to how I use our computers should not be enabled. We do not use the sound on most of our PC's in our store but wanted to get advice first!!! We are running all new Windows 10 Pro PC's connecting to a new server running Server 2016 all 64 bit systems

2. Why are you using Inspirons as PoS clients on a Server 2016 domain?
