Any Dell users experiencing issues with ADATA RAM or Bitdefender Antivirus?

Bought a Dell Inspiron 13 5000 (5370) last year and have had several BSOD issues this whole week.

Support suggested to me that this was due to faulty RAM that I installed/upgraded, but test results from PassMark MemTest86 that showed no errors with 48/48 (100%) PASS in both 8GBx2 that I installed.

Support then suggested uninstalling Bitdefender and running Windows Defender with the original 4GB of RAM, but BSOD issues still persisted despite following all instructions.

Need help/stopgap fix ASAP as I use this laptop for school and freelance work overseas and do not have time for a repair/OS reinstall.

Dell's have a long history of memory compatibility.  Some non-Dell branded memory works OK and some does not.  Hit or miss and can work in one and not the other.  For that reason most of the techies on here recommend Crucial memory as it is one brand that is guaranteed to work in a Dell.   In addition mixing memory can, and often is, a problem.  Only have all the same memory.

For antivirus I find the built in Windows Defender is all that is needed.  No need to add a 3rd party AV.
