BIOS System Password
A year ago I had set a system password instead of an admin password in the BIOS. Now I want to remove it. I have tried the backdoor, But I have reset the BIOS many different ways including removing the CMOS battery.
Is there a way I can remove it myself or I have to send my laptop to dell.

If you know the password, enter it and in the leave the fields for changing the password blank. Save and exit.
If you've lost the password, you'll need to call Dell support. Upon verification of ownership (and if the system is out of warranty,payment for a support call), they will assist you in unlocking the system.

No, I have tried that and it still did not work. I am currently in contact with a dell agent.
