BIOS not detecting ssd boot drive

G15 5511. I7 11800H. RTX 3050. 8GB RAM. Stock 256GB SSD slot 1. Crucial 500GB SSD slot 2.

  • I just installed the Crucial SSD. Used their recommended software (Acronis) to format and partition. I made a post yesterday about getting the laptop to boot from the new drive, that got fixed. I then ended up with 6 recovery partitions. 3 on each drive. I knew there would be 2, one for the manufacturer and one for the OS I believe. Somewhere along the line both disks were changed to dynamic. I previously used ANOMEI and was going to use that again to changed them back to basic and remove the recovery partitions from the old drive. My next thing was to free up space on that drive and hopefully incorporate the drives together. After ANOMEI switched the drives back to basic the system rebooted. Now it says "no boot device found" and neither of the SSD's are showing up in the BIOS.

After finally getting in touch with dells support they are telling me the hard drives are corrupted. Sending out a new drive to replace theirs. My new crucial ssd is a goner. Going to try to talk to ANOMEI and see if they will do anything.
