Bios password problem

As I use Inspiron n5010 .
I had setup bios password which unfortunately I have forgotten as I was not using my lappy recently .
But now I have some important files in there which I want to access but unable to,
So please can someone help me out in resetting the bios password .

You'll need to place a voice phone call to Dell support for the unlock password.  Be prepared to verify your ownership of the system.

I have a small doubt about what all do i have to verify regarding my ownership !!!

They will verify that your name, address and phone number match those of the registered owner.

remove the battery, and the CMOS battery connect the notebook to the power source turn off the notebook, recharge the batteries, and turn on the notebook the BIOS memory must be factory reset and you can use it normally

No, that won't help. The password on Dell notebooks is stored in EEPROM, not battery-backed CMOS memory.
