Have you tried changing the brightness by holding the Fn key just to check if this responds?
Restart the computer & tap F2 to get into BIOS- Click on Advanced tab – change Function key behavior to multimedia restart the system & change it back to Function keys.
Please click on the message tab – click new message & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.
I did try using the Fn key with the brightness key (F11 & F12), but the only thing it does is going to full screen. I guess it's the secondary function.
I also already restart and went to BIOS setting (by pressing F2). I try restore to the default setting for the LCD brightness, but it did not do anything and it also wont allow me to apply the new change to my choosen setting.
