Can I upgrade Inspiron 16 7610 to better use DaVinci Resolve Studio?
Inspiron 16 7610
Back in April (2022), I purchased my Dell Inspiron 16 Plus (7610). It was on sale and the one YouTube video I watched said it would be okay for Video editing. Well, it's pretty choppy when I edit 4k in DaVinci Studio so I ran a check using Crucial's website which claims I can upgrade my RAM to 64G

but now I'm finding just about all other sources claim 32G is the max so that's what I went with. Here's what I just installed and it booted up normally and the 32 GB upgrade is showing up in the settings:

Here's what my machine has going on:
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
Product ID 00342-20747-23453-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display
When watching the reviews on this thing, I notice that they all seem to have an RTX sticker between the two that I have showing on mine
Davinci studio is all about GPU so I'm wondering if there is something I can reasonably do to upgrade that??
Thanks!

The short answer is, it depends on your expectations.
No, the system that ships with integrated video cannot be upgraded to discrete without the purchase of a new system board, heatsink assembly, and likely power adapter -- you'd be looking at $600 or more just for the board, plus another $100 or so in other parts. You would also lose the system warranty in the process of upgrading.
Since the system has a Thunderbolt port, an external GPU may be a more practical option, though it will require the purchase of a video card, the external GPU and an external monitor. That may not be less expensive than the mainboard replacement, but at least you'll still have a warranty on the system.
If you are intent on running this software, a third option may be the best one: sell the system and purchase something more suitable to that workload, such as a 15" or 17" Precision mobile workstation.
