Cannot connect to external speaker

Question

Bought an Inspiron13 5000 series laptop in 2017. Since then, it does not recognize my bose external speaker (which works well with my cellphone). Says WavesMaxxAudio Pro on d sticker but checked programs, device manager, and sounds properties but nos such thing is installed except microphone (realtek audio) and speakers/headphones (realtek audio) which are working properly. Do I need to install a program, driver? Please help. Thanks.

Without knowing the exact model of the laptop you have, all I can do is suggest that you install the WavesMaxxAudio software from Dell.com
