Cannot duplicate display but can extend.
Hello. I cannot duplicate my laptop display to an external display but i can extend it only. I want to duplicate it but it cant. The external display turn black and displays input not supported. I have tried to change the resolution to the native resolution of the external display but that did not fix the problem.

Try this =
Inspiron G3 15 3590 HDMI out port --> HDMI to DVI cable --> Acer V203H DVI in port

Same problem. My laptop is a Latitude E6530 with Win 10 Home.

@sconnor I think my BIG question is, Is thus functionality (PC screen only, Duplicate, Extend, 2nd screen only) an Operating System functionality, or inherent in the laptop BIOS? Will upgrading the Operating System to Win 10 Pro or Windows 11 going to fix the problem?
