Computer extremely slow, never worked right
This equipment never worked properly. Extremely slow processing, it takes at least 15 minutes to get ready when turned on. If I close the lid, it will take another 15 when I open it again. I am really dissatisfied with this first Dell I bought.

Performance issues in computers can be caused due to: Fragmented data on the hard disk drive. Unused applications running in the background. Outdated drivers for devices such as chipset, BIOS, docking stations, and so on.

These systems were sold in base configurations of 4G RAM, 1T spinning hard drive, and an i3 CPU.
If that's what you have, or you have either insufficient RAM (8G being the practical minimum), or you have a spinning hard drive rather than a native SSD, it will be slow in performance.
Windows 10 and 11 do not perform well with hard drives, and do not perform acceptably with only 4G RAM. Upgrading both of those will appreciably boost performance.
