This is so funny, I have an inspiron 5575 with ryzen in it and the fan in this machine will not even start to spin till its gets to 90 degrees which at that point the cpu and gpu have already started to thermal throttle and wont boost clocks any more even after the fan has cooled it down but i agree they need to have a fan control program so we can adjust it to how we want it i for one would like it if my machine didnt run at 80 degrees while sitting at the desktop.
Hi, who from Dell actually is 0still looking for the Fan's extremely noise sound issue? We are waiting nearly a year for this annoying issue can be solved.
For several weeks now, my fans wont spool up to maximum speed, which results in quite bad performance due to thermal throttling even with games like Europa Universalis 4 oder Might & Magic: Heroes 7. Not that these games are very demanding for a machine like this and they havent been for a year or so. But now they are close to be unplayable not even talking about really demanding games here.
So Dell, any solutions as what I could do, so that my fans will work properly again and I can use this Laptop for the purpose its been made for?
Don't know what you can do about Fan Speeds but perhaps you can disable turbo boost or limit max turbo speed using Throttlestop. It shouldn't impact gameplay/performance in those games. You should also try to clean up the vents using compressed air.
My fans are constantly running on my 7577 even though the temp is down to 40 C. I'm not running any games, just the browser is open, This is driving me nuts and makes the notebook unusable to me.
Two years later, and still no solution from Dell. Well, looks like this was the last notebook I bought from you.
Two years later and still no word from the wonderful technician at Dell. It shows how much interest they pay to these forums. Thanks Dell. Great Job!! better luck next time.
I have the same problem here on Vostro 7570, but in my case, maybe it's from the latest BIOS update 1.7.0. Please Dell, fix it, i must manually fix by press FN+Z combination key everytime fan speed isn't correct.
