Dell Backup and Restore -exceeding MAX-PATH limit error
Inspiron 3543
In Dell Backup and Restore on my Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series (3543) laptop that I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 keeps giving me many error messages saying -
"File was not backed up due to its path exceeding MAX-PATH limit or containing unsupported characters".
Is the any way to perform a back-up without having to edit hundreds, possibly thousands of non-conforming files?
Is there another back up solution that does not have this limitation?
Can I restore data backed from this old Dell to a non-Dell device using Dell Backup and Restore?
