Dell Inspirion N4110 SSD Replacement Problem

Question

I tried to replace the HDD of my laptop with an SSD and I copied everything that was on my HDD to the SSD but when I turned the laptop on with the SSD in it, it says Operating System Not Found or Operation System Not Found. Help will be greatly appreciated.

@Isaque2808  Copy and paste will not work. You need to image the old to the new or make a fresh W10 install on the new SSD. Regards, U2

@JOcean is correct most people use Macrium Reflect.

This is the link to download W10 Media Creation tool, if you want to install W10 without all the Dell bloatware.

@U2CAMEB4ME is spot on, that will not work. For a good program that will make imaging or cloning easy try Macrium Reflect Free. That is available here and there is very good support by way of tutorials and videos.

@Isaque2808  You should have no problem installing W10. I install W10 on E6420XFR's with no problem. 2nd GEN CPU just like yours. Just use W7 and W8 drivers if needed. Regards, U2
