Dell Inspiron 15 5567 windows setup problem

Dear All,

I have  Dell Inspiron 15 5567 and the running windows is  Windows 10

I wanted to replace it with windows 7

From windows 7 set up menu I formatted the C partition ( that contains win 10),

But I couldn't setup windows 7 due to error message ( hard is GPT format )

How can I setup windows 7 or windows 10 again on that GPT hard ?

I can not convert the hard to mbr formate because it contains important data and I do not want to lose it.

To summarize

GPT hard formate and the running windows is 10

I formatted the operation system partition (c) from dos

The problem is : I can not set up any windows on that GPT format

Is there any solution for that problem?

There are a number of hurdles here, starting with the fact that even if you do get Windows 7 loaded, you can't update it thereafter (the processor generation in this system does not have support for Windows 7).

64-bit Windows 7 can be installed to a GPT disc;  32 bit WIndows 7 cannot.

It should also be noted that support for Windows 7 (including security updates) ended about six months ago, so it's an insecure OS at this point.

I have solved the problem.

I have created a USB bootable windows copy as GPT using Rufus.

Set up went well.

Thanks
