Dell Inspiron 3593 Memory/RAM Upgrading

Hi everyone. I am planning to upgrade my laptop's RAM to 24gb. I've been watching videos on Youtube, did some research, and only today did I stumble upon this community. I did a bit of reading, and I saw posts from last year that there are only accepted RAM configurations. As for my laptop specs, they are as follows:Intel Core i5-1035G18GB DDR4 RAM256GB SSD1TB HDDIntel UHD GraphicsNVIDIA MX230 2GBNow the question I have, is that if I can pair my single 8GB ram with a Crucial 16GB DDR4 2666Mhz SODIMM or not? Because I read earlier here, that there was a user who had trouble with ram compatibility from Crucial, and he had to buy the same memory stick he had on his laptop, but second hand. Also, I read that there are certain configurations/compatibilities that are allowed. Say for example, only an 8+4, or a 8x2, or 16x2 configuration.So is 24gb possible? I also plan to do the upgrade on my own, and am really nervous about doing it, as I don't want my laptop to die or not work on me as this is what I use for my work, and source of income.If it is not possible, I plan to go for another 8gb upgrade to bring a total of 16gb. The purchase will be made from here , so if anyone can verify the compatibility, it would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I would have ordered from Crucial, but the ram is out of stock on their website and this is the only source I have in my country. Blunder.I appreciate all the thoughts and help I can get. I've just ordered the 3593 and the information I've seen about the 3593 is it supports only a maximum of 16GB of RAM. But contact support just to be sure.

Kingston KCP brand is superspeed ram. I'm using that. it's 16gb 2666Mhz (8*2) speed is like 32GB. or go for A-DATA or G-skill brand (check the website for suitable ram).
