Dell Inspiron 7000 Gaming RAM Storage Capacity

My name is Luis Cortes, I own a Dell Inspiron 7000 Gaming (I LOVE IT SO MUCH!). I am looking to upgrade the RAM of my buddy, and I am confused regarding the maximum RAM capacity that my laptop can hold. In some websites, such as Micron's Crucial (Link: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/dell/inspiron-15-7000-gaming#MEMORYFilters) says the maximum RAM capacity can be increased up to 32GB, but in Dell's customer support forums, some people say the maximum storage capacity is 16GB. Could customer support aid me in figuring out the actual RAM capacity of Dell's Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop?

Another question, sorry for so many questions, is what kind of RAM is compatible with my laptop? Does Dell recommend the website Crucial (the one whose link is above) as a useful advisor for compatible hardware for my laptop?
