Dell Inspiron N5010 Keyboard malfunctioning and Start Up errors.

I have a dell laptop that I bought on 2010. The problem is, it keeps typing characters by itself even if i am not touching the keyboard. At first it only types "-" repeatedly, but now it types different characters already. The problem became worst because my laptop is not starting properly right now Every time I switch it on, this different options are occurring like "start windows normally", "choose booting device" and sometimes it hanged up to start up like forever. I cannot do anything because the keyboard is not functioning. I have done many troubleshooting that I know, like rebooting the device, removing the battery, unplugging to the socket, but the problem is not fixed. Please help me fix the problem. Thanks! Please try to run the diagnostic tool on the computer by following the steps below.

1. Power off system.

2. Power on system, quickly start tapping the F12  key continuously until you see Preparing one time boot menu in the top right corner of the screen. In Dell Preboot menu, select diagnostic

You ever change out the hard drive or the coin cell battery in the computer ? You tried connecting an external keyboard to see if it will function?

I am unable to run any diagnostic to my laptop or try to use USB keyboard at all because the laptop is not starting properly anymore.

Thank you!  I already tried this option, even pressing F8, F2 or whatsoever.  But boot set up never showed up, maybe because the keyboard is not functioning properly already.  I even tried to reformat the laptop but it didn't work because I cannot start with the first step.

Did you checked the keyboard itself, is it possible that the keyboard was damaged, and just need replace a keyboard?
Get a new keyboard to try, or bring your laptop to repair store to confirm the problem of the laptop.
