Thanks! It appears I was under the wrong impression ... I seem to have 256 SSD. How can I check out what's taking up the space? I barely used this laptop and cant understand how this space is being taken up.
You have 2 drives--the ssd and a 1 tb hard drive most likely named Drive D. That should be used for all files and programs while the small ssd is for the Windows system and essential system files to speed up booting. You have to manually select Drive D as your download and program installation drive because the default drive is always C.
If you want to see what’s taking up space, use TreeSize Free. Run it as administrator so it can scan everything, then select your C drive. It will sort all root folders by size, then as you drill into them, subfolders and files are sorted the same way, so it makes it clear very quickly where space is being consumed.

Welcome to the Dell Community @DFCosta
Go to "Disk Manager" and see how the drive is partitioned.
The partitions should total 931.32GB if you have a 1TB drive installed.

Look under "Disk Manager"
There could be 3, 4, or more partition's
(EFI) Partition
(System) Partition
(OEM) Partition
(Recovery) Partition
(OS) Partition
They should add up to around 238.4186 GB
