Does my laptop support m.2 SATA SSD?

I have a Dell Inspiron 7567.. I bought the one without SSD and thought I would install one later since it has an m.2 slot.. Now I am thinking of installing one. I know that the variant with preinstalled SSD comes with an NVMe SSD in the m.2 slot, but they are quite expensive, so I was thinking of getting a SATA SSD, like this one.

I wanted to ask if this laptop supports SATA SSD in m.2 slot, since I know that some mobo's only support NVMe. Has anyone who owns this laptop tried installing a m.2 SATA SSD in it?
