Driver notifications not working anymore
Noticed my driver update email notifications have stopped working at least for the past 6 months.
Do email notifications stop working after your device's warranty expires?
Anyone else have the same problem?
Device: Dell G5 15 5587

Dell support confirmed in private message that driver update notification email ends when your warranty ends.
Dell makes billions of dollars, yet it is a burden for them to send an email notification?! WOW the greed...

Welcome to the Dell Community @Beefesoft
Since your warranty has expired uninstall SupportAssist and update your drivers directly from your support page.
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/g-series-15-5587-laptop/drivers
It seems that SA develops problems after the warranty has expired.
I have asked Dell about this but Dell will be Dell and I have not received any response.

Thank you for your reply. but this has nothing to do with any software installed on my computer. driver notifications used to arrive to my email directly from dell.

You have to setup Driver Notifications again. Go to your page for Drivers, Additional Resources and see if you can sign up again. Be aware that laptops rarely if ever get any driver updates since the motherboard does not change. The only updates you might get are for security bios updates--also rare.

Looks like we can now include driver update notification.
Same thing with SA after the warranty expires.

SupportAssist = SA
As mentioned in my first post, it is useless after your warranty expires just like Driver Notifications.
