Error code 2000-0142 in the ePSA

Hello , 

My Inspiron 15 3552 , has bad sectors in the HDD , it worked fine as long as it did , and after few days , its just straight up slow and takes a lot of time to boot and when I restarted the laptop it gave me the 0142 HDD error. Since this laptop is out of warranty , there is no way I can find renew warranty option , all the support says is to use the knowledge base . Will the HDD be replaced with an SATA SSD or an HDD  , if I take it to the nearest dell authorised service center ? . You can the error in a greater detail in the following screenshots.

If you are in the USA and cannot do the replacement of the HDD with a SSD, you will need to find a local computer shop to do the repair. If there isn't a local computer shop near you, you can go to Best Buy.

Unfortunately, the most likely cause of the Dell ePSA error code 2000-0142 is a hard disk failure. If you hear your hard drive making strange noises (clicking, beeping, grinding) or failing to spin up, you'll know for sure that your hard drive is dead.
