I cant find any private messages. I can't reply to the emails, they get sent back.. Can I post the service tag here?

Today I was using my laptop and stepped away briefly leaving the laptop screen up. It was unplugged and had around half battery. The screen went black as normal but when I went to start using it again it was completely unresponsive... AGAIN. Plugging in power does nothing, not even the indicator light. Tried holding power button while plugged in and not plugged in. Still no response. About to unplug the battery and drain flea power again. This is getting old quick. 

 

Side note, I can not reply to emails from Dell asking for service tag. They are immediately returned to sender. Service Tag is

Hi, did this issue get resolved? I'm having the same issue and my laptop is on the way back to Dell for a repair. Thanks.

The issue has not been resolved. I have done factory installs of windows 10 and 11 with the same outcome. they told me it has something to do with the app 'bonjour' which is pre-installed I believe. it works with apple services. I disabled then deleted the app and that didn't help either. next I was told I should pay to talk to the software team. I just have a hard time believing it is a software issue. haven't had time to pay someone to attempt me fix my brand new thousand-dollar laptop.

 

What have you been told so far?

So I've not installed any new hardware, all I've done is updated software inc updating the bios to 1.8.2 and updating the video card driver. My symptoms are the same as you describe though. Apparently they've fixed it and it's on its way back to me. Not sure what they've done or whether it will have fixed it permanently, but will update when I know more.

please do keep me updated. i have reverted back to all original hardware and boot setup before the last factory reset. after the restart i started fresh on windows 10, since that was pre installed. after continuing to have the same issues i updated to windows 11 again since i knew it wasnt an OS problem at that point. the first time i powered on the laptop after purchase i went straight for windows 11. i tried windows 10 just to make sure it wasnt a windows 11 problem. they are still telling me to talk to software support, i still do not have the extra time to want to pay to talk to them.
