G3 15-3500 Battery Problem
My battery is draining way to fast. Its like more than 3% in a second at times. Once my PC used to make a Tch sound while starting and used to close. I clearly don't know what is going on with this device. Sometimes the G button doesn't work or sometimes the device doesn't start properly. I have used no malicious softwares and just have been using it for classes or PPTs. My battery went from around 50 to 20 in a matter of 2 mins or less. The tests don't show any defect in the battery too.

The battery is under first year Dell warranty. Please visit your online Dell account to create Service Request so that Dell can provide a new OEM battery. Dell Laptop Battery - Frequently Asked Questions | Dell US Dell may request evidence, such as a Windows Battery Report, etc. You can ask for Service Request to be expedited if you urgently need a fully functioning system, but Dell will want to know why replacement battery is time sensitive.
In the interim, it might become prudent to disconnect the Dell G Series G3 3500 Original G Series G3 3590 / Inspiron 5490 51Wh 3-cell Laptop Battery - Dell Part Number (DP/N) 266J9. Laptop without battery is designed to function as Desktop powered by ac adapter.
