I really don't get it, I considered myself a pretty knowledgeable PC user before I bought this Dell with Windows 10. On a clean installation of Windows, turn off Wifi and the LatencyMon test will not pass. Copying music to the system disc also didn't help, and crackling sounds are heard.
In addition, I now needed to connect a headset to the PC and the microphone did not work, neither the internal one in the laptop nor the one in the headphones connected by cable via the TRRS jack. So I reinstalled the Realtek audio drivers and the internal microphone is already working, but the microphone in the headphones is not. Then I remembered that when the PC was new there was a Realtek Audio Console application in it and every time I connected the headphones, the PC asked me if it was headphones, speakers, headset .. Since I didn't need this after a clean installation of Win I used this application do not install. That's why it occurred to me that the PC doesn't know now that I'm connecting headphones with a microphone, and that's why I installed the Realtek Audio Console. Unfortunately, it didn't help me much, when starting Realtek Audio Console it reports an error: Cannot connect to RPC service. I tried all possible instructions to solve what I found and without results. Therefore, I tried to install Realtek Audio Console into a clean Win, which I now have on the second disk and everything works there normally.
When I have time, I will try to do a clean installation of Win on the main disk again and I will see what happens, or I will really take the PC to complain.
I've been testing a laptop with Dell programs turned off for a few days, and so far it looks like the behavior is better, although a few seconds after turning on the PC, one "crack" sounds, but then the sound is flawless. I hope it stays that way.

Had the same problem with the same laptop, fixed it by uninstalling the following software:
- Dell Support Assist
- Dell Support Assist Agent
It's an old and well known issue, since 2015, these softwares make Dell laptops stutter.

Yeah, that's exactly how it behaves, even though it's not such a significant jam for me. Thanks for that tip, I'll try to uninstall and I'll test.
Thanks Vojta.

I've disabled some of Dell services from msconfig, and it seems helped with the sound crackling issue
