Welcome to the Dell Community @meura
You would need to increase the size of your HDD.
Or purchase the 4 cell battery, Interposer and caddy.

You may have missed it. 7790 has vacant space for a HDD.
What were the default options you chose while buying the Laptop?
The options you chose for configuring the laptop are responsible for the laptop specifications. So chose the specifications wisely before adding the laptop to the shopping cart.

You now know your options:
1. Install a larger M.2 SSD.
2. Install a smaller battery and 2.5" drive (NOT recommended to do - the system is power-intensive and you likely won't get much runtime out of a 4-cell battery; also, many newer system use hybrid power, requiring the use of the battery AND AC adapter together.
3. Use an external USB 3 hard drive.

If the system was purchased from Dell, and in a location where Dell supplies a 30-day satisfaction guarantee (US, Canada, at least part of Europe), you can return the system and order a model more suited to your needs.
If you need 2.5" drive support, you'll likely be looking at an Alienware system -- or XPS (though note most of these have similar limitations on installing 2.5" drives; that is, you cannot with the larger battery).
