HELP! LAPTOP BIOS UPDATE, LED BLINKING 2 AMBER 2 WHITE

I would like to ask for assistance with how to fix my laptop.

So, it started off with my Dell laptop having an update for bios, so I let it run for about 2 hours and the update gets stuck at 35%. So I decided to restart my laptop hoping it would fix the issue, however another issue ended up happening where when I reboot my laptop, I get a black screen, but I hear my fan making noise. The LEDs also flash 2 amber lights and 2 white lights. I've searched that it is a bios failure issue, however I've tried doing the "hold ctrl + ESC" buttons and nothing shows for me. Please help because I don't know what to do.

What do I do if my battery is inside the laptop? Like it's not one of those where I could just remove the battery, I'd have to take apart the laptop to get to it.

Unplug system, remove base cover and disconnect the battery.  Hold the power button for 30 sec.  Remove and reinstall both memory modules.  Reconnect the battery and power up again - if the error persists, the CPU is indeed bad.  It's not replaceable -- you'll need to replace the entire system board (the CPU is soldered to the mainboard).

Is this method supposed to help fix the bios issue I had before? Will it help fix my laptop so that I can reset the update? My laptop Lead's are still blinking 2amber and 2 white with black screen. How can I fix that?

You need to remove the base cover to access the connector that plugs the battery into the system board.

If you wish to have a link to the service manual, post the full model number (i.e., Inspiron 3539, not just "Inspiron 3000 series").

The 2-2 flash is a corrupted firmware code.  Resetting the system (disconnecting AC power, the battery and holding the power button for 30 sec) may restore the system to the point where it'll boot (or allow you to attempt a BIOS recovery).  Whether it's recoverable depends partly on where the source is, and on what model system you have.

Try the disconnect battery/reset.  It may allow the system to boot.  If it does not, post the full model number (i.e., Inspiron 3539, etc.) and someone can advise you whether or not the system supports recovery.  If it does not, you'll need to replace the system board.

The PXE message means that the system cannot see the HDD/SDD so is trying to boot from a network. I am guessing that somewhere along the way the BIOS was reset and switched from RAID to AHCI or vice versa. This web page may help. As well as this page.

Okay, so I followed your steps and it managed to get my laptop to boot. However, I get an issue now where it's stuck in a booting loop with a message saying:

PXE-E61:Media Test failure, check cable

PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM

No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key

What am I supposed to do here to troubleshoot it? I assumed it was a loose cable, so I opened up my laptop and fixed the wires again, but I still get this message.

What model system is this, and what operating system is it running?

I tried checking that out in the bios settings, however the SATA operation only lists AHCI and ATA as the options.

Set the SATA operation to AHCI and make sure your hard drive (or SSD) is first in the boot menu.  If Windows still won't load, it will then be time to reload.
