Hard Drive - Not installed problem after Windows Update

Hi!

I have problem with my Dell Inspiron 5370. When I install updates from Windows Update on Windows 10, bios after restart shows an error "Hard Drive - Not Installed". Then computer restarted and system started recovery. After recovery everything worked ok. I installed system again and problem returned so I installed system again and installed drivers from dell support before Windows Updates. Unfortunately, the problem has occured again but this time system recovery does not work... Hard Drive is Sandisk SU 512 GB (2J2620016765).

Unplug the system, disconnect the battery from the mainboard, and hold the power button for 30 sec.

Remove and reinstall the SSD.

Power up, press F12 and run a full system diagnostic, particularly on the drive.

Unlike hard drives, SSDs can and often do fail completely, and without any warning at all.  I suspect you have a drive that is either failing, or has failed.

That error and the symptoms point to a failing drive -- it's likely that the drive is having write issues under load (which is why they surface under WIndows updates).

You can try reloading the OS once more, but you are very likely going to need a new M.2 NVMe drive in the near future.

Everything is ok with the hard disk, diagnostics don't show any errors when system is new and clear. After installing the drivers or Windows Update in Event Log in ePSA Pre-boot System Assessment save error Fail PSA V4306.12 Error 2000:0155.

The problem occurs after installing Intel Rapid Storage Technology. If I don't install it, everything works fine.
