Hardware or software problem?
When headphone is plugin and lid is closed and after sometime opening lid headphone is not detected.
Headphone is detected by maxAudioPro but sound is coming from internal speaker not from headphone.

Right Click on the volume control icon on the taskbar and choose Playback Devices. Click on the Headphones and choose to make them the Default Device. Apply Settings.

What is the model of your laptop? The issue of headphones not being recognized was a common problem in the XPS 9550 and 9350 models. Also in the Inspiron 15R 5521.

13-5378 model.
I updated realtek driver available in this site. Now Maxxaudio Pro is not working.
