How i can understand if i have hardware damage?
Hi guys, some minutes ago i was working on my new Dell G7 to upgrade RAM banks when i go to remove the base cover and after having correctly unscrewed 7 screws out of 8, the last one has been stripped.
After several useless attempts and so much nervousness I did a stupid thing, I tried to rotate the cover to free up the workspace.
I rotated it in the sense that I should have unscrewed the screw.
I forced a little and heard several clear noises of metal and plastic parts that came into contact, after several attempts, forcing the cover to turn and noticing that it was not "smooth" underneath but full of aluminum structures that could have ruined the I / O board or the GPU fan, I left it alone.
Now, I still managed to replace the ram only with the base cover "raised" because that screw can no longer be removed from them; but despite having turned the laptop back on and everything is working I have great fear of having done damage but I don't know how to understand it and how to understand how much in case.
I'm so frustrated, a new PC paid $ 1200 to which I wanted to pay so much attention, and I ended up doing the worst thing, forcing and bringing metal structures into contact with the hardware and contacts by turning and forcing.
I hope nothing has been damaged, but I really can't tell from confused memories of the noise produced while I was trying. Also, looking at the base cover, I really noticed it was full of structures, I don't know what they were for, I hope I didn't damage anything.

If the system is working properly then it is possible that no serious damage has been done. Run a diagnostic test just to confirm the components are not damaged though. In the future if you cannot easily remove a screw, forcing the issue can only bring about serious consequences. The screw could have been drilled out by a competent PC service shop. To run diagnostics restart the system and at the Dell splash screen start tapping F12. Choose full diagnostics and watch for any errors.

Hi,
I wanted to know if you ran the diagnostics on the computer.
If yes, could you share the results obtained and the temperature readings?
