This MS forum page would seem to dispute that. A Google search turns up a number of apps that will do exactly what you want such as here. Generally the Print Screen captures the image to be pasted into a program such as MS Paint which then can be sent to the printer.

There are 2 more steps after Control, Print. Open Word or another program like Paint and right click and Paste. Then choose Print.

You can use the same community and post it under windows 10 Forum.

 

Windows 10 has built in Snipping features. 

I mainly prefer using Snipping tool. Grab whatever you want to grab and Print.

I found this software call PrintKey which work great, just google for it.
