It's likely a moot question. Older systems -- and this one dates from 2017 -- of budget origin (i.e., Inspiron) generally run drives in GT2 mode, meaning they're limited at the mainboard level in NVMe performance.
You just won't see any difference in performance by installing a faster NVMe drive -- so unless you are future-proofing by buying a faster drive to use in a future newer system, don't pay extra for a high performance drive in an older budget-model Inspiron like this one. It's the equivalent of running 93 octane gasoline in a Hyundai Elantra.

Crucial m.2 drives are far way behind the speeds published for most other brands.
On the other hand, compatibility sources such as dell ore amazon shows warnings for any drives above 512 Gb.
Question, can we trust crucial for 7573 compatibility on brands such as WD, sk hynix, Samsung , etc. or do we have to stand with crucial lower speeds ??

Taking that in consideration for my upgrade, Thanks.
