If you did not buy directly from Dell or an approved retail seller, you should check with the shop. The warranty starts on the shipping date. You might have bought an overstock item or return or even used/refurbished. Ask them about the warranty and see if it can be transferred for the last 2 months. Return it if you are not happy with that.
I had something similar with HP - I just gave them a call, and they adjusted the dates. I would try something similar. I recall I had to give them the date of purchase, or something, so be sure to have the receipt handy just in case.
I brought dell latitude 3540 on 25/1/2025 and my warranty ends on 17 Oct 2027.but have taken 3 years warranty but I have got only 2 years 9 months in the online. Any solution for this issue please.
