Insperion 3584 poor performance

Hi, its really a pain and waste of money, time, energy, patience with the insperion 3584. The default configuration does not optimally work with Win10. Have to waste further money time efforts to upgrade it in RAM, in SSD. Dell should recall this product and help their customers. In times of COVID had to work on a such a pathetic machine.

Hi, I have replied with Tag number and also received your feedback.

The model has by default issue with audio driver, never accepted the audio jack after booting the machine-had to uninstall the realtek driver now it's work on default windows audio driver perfectly. The 1GB HDD provided is way too slow, 1st time boot after purchasing took more than 2 hours and later also all the time 100% occupied and 4GB RAM also occupied 100% most of the time killing the performance. Had to upgrade the RAM to 12GB, added SDD, had to purchase the licence to transfer OS from old HDD to SDD. Overall had spend something 15000 INR (~45% of purchase cost). Request Dell to check the system performance for Optimal acceptance atleast before selling to retail customers. All can't afford, have no technical support and importantly they believe on Brand Name for quality!

After all above upgrade and spend now the performance is quite acceptable for me.

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

This is probably the most ridiculous solution which seems to be "community accepted solution ""

Shame on Dell where the solution for a devastatingly slow and unusable product solution is to replace a key hardware i.e the hard disk to a SSD that is spending more money,,, Shame,,,, y do u even need to launch such a unusable product,,, Shame on you

hi,

what do you mean by "never accepted the audio jack after booting the machine" ?

i will do a reset factory because now it is really really slow but , after what can i do ? just unsintall the realtek driver and let win10 discover itself the default drivers ?

Now afte rread you, i remember it was "normal" once get out the box/last factory reset  and become slow once i start to install all the update.... maybe i just needa to not install the update of win10.

does the slow effet affect win11 too ?

well, i performed a factory reset to win10 core (via dell f12).

once it is done, i manually update the audio drivers to 6.0.9228.1, A07 version . i hope it will avoid the issue of next slow perf...

finger crossed !!
