Inspirion 5577 SSD
I'm looking to remove the 1TB HDD that came with the laptop and upgrade to 1TB NAND M.2 Type 2280 Internal SSD.
Just want to confirm this is compatible. I saw this in a previous post so just making sure.
I've upgrade to the latest BIOS available from the Dell.
Assuming I can run this without the HDD installed.
Also what connection hardware do I need to look for or order?
Thanks in advance.

I found this reply from 2019. Is this not correct in it's reference to being able to use a 1TB SSD?

Welcome to the Dell Community @DuncanSI
The Dell Specs is a guideline and is not the limitation of the hardware.
Yes you can add a 256GB or 1TB NAND M.2 Type 2280 Internal SSD
