Inspiron 15 5N040 error
I my laptop kept shutting down with the message preparing for automatic repair. I ran the diagnostic and received the following erore code 2000-0142, validation 11836, Hard drive O-S/N S2WAMYHM status 7. Can someone please tell me what these mean and what steps I need to take.

The hard drive has failed or is failing.The post below will give you some additional information. If your system is under warranty, call Dell tech support for your region. Otherwise replacing a hard drive is pretty easy. I assume the model is 15 N5040 correct?
