Inspiron 15-7559 battery issue

i run diagnostics on my laptop often on the dell website and the microsoft system. two weeks ago, i did a scan and it said to replace the battery, the next day i took the back off of the laptop and the battery was swollen up in its casing, it was unplugged sitting on top of my desk in my bedroom, a few hours later i was laying in bed and heard a spark come from the laptop and there was a horrible smell (like toxic) the battery then started smoking, so i went to run out of my room but before i could get out there was a huge explosion and i had melted plastic and shards of metal everywhere and on me. i ran out of my room so scared and the all of the sudden my laptop and dresser is in flames. it then blew up a second time just like the first time but this time it was on fire it smelled so toxic in my home for days
