Inspiron 15 7567 speakers problem
Hi,
Since I don't know when, the left speaker or the subwoofer (I don't know which one as both of them are on the left side of the laptop) makes a loud 'pop' noise before turning back to normal every time the laptop starts to play any sound or resumed playing after being silent for half a minute or even less.
I tried to reinstall the drivers and still the same.
Can someone help me?
Thanks
Also, here are my laptop's specs if it helps:
i7 7700hq - gtx1050 ti - 16gb ram - 256gb micron 1100 ssd - 1tb hdd

Try this driver
But it will disable the sub-woofer

There was a Solution? I have the same problema and i haven´t fixed it. I realized that the audio problem (at least for me) only happens when the Graphic card run a application. If i run a video in YouTube, for example, and it doesn´t use the Graphic car to run it, the audio it´s good. But when i run Spotify, it turn on the Graphic Card and the problema appear.

The "pop" noise appeared again after the latest windows update (May 2018)
Even reinstalling the native driver can't solve the problem
The roof of problem is Smartbyte !
Turn off it !

I haven't installed Smartbyte before, but my computer has it
Maybe it's been automatically installed by Dell Update
Just search "Smartbyte" and turn off it

Kevin, I found a third party site which has some interesting info about Smartbytes. It is from May 2017 and is aimed directly at Dell and Rivet Networks.
I also saw a site from airtel broadband which shows it uses Smartbytes for business, just in case that was your provider.
But some interesting things were, it is aimed at enterprise situations mainly for video quality. The article mentions it is being used with Intel and Realtek networking solutions on specially designated machines...
I tried to install the Dell driver for Smartbytes and it would not install on my system but I do have a killer wireless card installed.
Your assertion that Smartbytes is responsible for popping and cracking may be accurate, if it is installed. But there may be another reason at work and I have to wonder, if it is Smartbytes on some systems, why has Rivet Networks not updated the software.
And keep in mind, we cannot see your pictures.

@Sebastian89, I replaced the Intel 3165 Wi-Fi adapter in my system. I then downloaded the May 18th Dell Smartbyte driver for testing.
The driver, namely the Bandwidth Manger, is causing static on the audio stream about every 3 seconds. It is constant and happens at the same time interval. I do not hear any popping on the videos I am watching.
I show the utility being listed under the Rivet Networks and Smartbyte Diagnostics in Apps on the start menu. I can disable the Bandwidth Manger and the static will stop.
I just reported this to Rivet Networks so we will see what happens. Unless you find more info, I will still assume this is not related to your situation.

Guys I bought a new 7567 and with 6 hours of use and updating the system started this problem. With some analysis and reading your posts, maybe I found the root cause. It is a windows process called "Windows Audio device Graph isolation". When I Shut it down (End Task) the pop stops. Tacuazin did a good root analysis. I just don't know how to solve cos when I restart the PC the process starts again. On details is Audiodg.exe. I Can't find the service to shut it down. Any clue?
