Inspiron 15z 5523 Issue

I have an Inspiron 15z 5523 with an i7-3537u processor. I have had it for around 7 years or so now. It had a hard drive failure soon after I purchased it and it was replaced by Best Buy. I've had several problems the last few years. I had upgraded it to Windows 10 from the Windows 8.1 it had come with originally and I have probably reinstalled Windows 10 probably close to 6 times in the last 4 years because of issues during boot. It would just keep rebooting and not ever completely booting up or things like that. Auto-Recovery or repair never worked so I would just reinstall. This last time, it would just not boot at all and when attempting to reinstall it would give me a screen with lines and just end up looping in a rebooting cycle. I finally did the ePSA tests and I had a 2000-0142 'Hard Drive - 0, Long self test unsuccessful.' I read it was likely a hard drive failure so replaced the hard drive. I had issues installing Windows 10. It would keep rebooting and the lines would keep appearing and turning off the laptop. I ran the ePSA and it gave me an error with Video Memory. - '2000-0332 Video Memory integrity test discrepancy'. I was finally somehow able to get around it (after attempting to install Windows 10 around 15 times) and it worked for the night. Ran all the updates, did a BIOS update and it booted up fine. It ran great last night. This morning, after booting up the laptop, the lines appeared again and it once again turned off and auto-recovery and repair would not work. I again could not get Windows 10 to install, so I downloaded the Windows 8 iso and it installed the first time just fine. After the laptop booted up, I opened up IE and just searched for 'Chrome' and once again, the lines appeared and the laptop turned off. I ran the ePSA and no errors are appearing. I cannot get the Video Memory error to appear again and all the tests run fine. Can someone please advise me on what I should try next? Try connecting to an external monitor , but I suspect that the video chip has gone bad. .
