Inspiron 16 Plus laptop availability
What retailers stock the 16 Plus? I haven’t been able to find any major retailers that stock it. I was hoping to see it in person before purchasing. I also noticed Dell longer sells the 1 TB option. I spoke to someone on then phone who said they didn’t know when it would be available again, before trying to sell me something else. The 1 TB drive is available in other laptops, so I don’t know what to think. How regularly does this happen? Do configurations disappear and return regularly with component availability? With supply chain constraints right now, there’s no way to know about timing, so I’m just interested in how this normally works.

This model does show up from at least one seller on Amazon (but not Amazon itself).
It was late to production, suggesting that availability of parts is an issue - and if it's in short supply with Dell, it's likely to be hard to find with retailers.
It's a niche market system due to its screen size -- so it may be hard to source other than direct from Dell.
