Inspiron 17 3737 SSD problem

Hello guys,

here's my story:

I bought a 500GB budget WD SSD (WDS500G2B0A).
I tried to install it to the place of the DVD drive with a caddy, but it didn't work.
I got curious if the SSD is good and tried it with an external USB adapter, this worked fine.
I thought that maybe the caddy is the problem and tried to install with another one with the same results (also tried to install an old 500GB HDD with the original caddy with no results..).
I decided to replace the old 1TB HDD with this little beast, because the laptop definetly needs the extra boost.
When I tried to install Windows 10 it fails with 0xc00000e9 error code and then if I try to restart the installation it says before the first step that there is a driver problem...

Did anyone else have the same problem?
Is there a solution to make the SSD work anyway?

Thanks in advance,

Atanaz

Hello, it's amazing how helpful this community is :) The SSD worked fine with external USB adapter. Inside I only have SATA connection. The problem is with SATA.
