Inspiron 17 7000 headphones mic not working

Hi!

My heaphone mic is not working. I have tried reinstalling the drivers and have run the systems diagnostics but there is not solution. I also checked Task Manager and Device Manager, I tried different headphones but mic still not working. The message states that: jack mic or headphone not plugged in.

Any idea how I can fix the problem?
